Hi my name is Adria Garcia, I come from Barcelona. I'm a rider of Downhill skateboarding. I've been skating for about 9 years but started Longboarding about a year ago. A love the speed and the sensation that Downhill makes me feel. I've been racing in some of local races and international freerides. For this year I'll compete in 3 World Championship races. And I have to do it well, this next year is the year of learning to win all the races that I can,so Stoked Skateboards will known for all riders around the world. Thanks SST.
Hey guys, I wanted to give notice that the Tussey Mountain Marathon Race II, the second annual is scheduled for May 15th and 16th of 2010. This will be the opening downhill stand-up longboarding race for the 2010 Beast Coast Downhill Circuit. Registration for the race will begin in January 10th, as will registration for the 2010 Circuit. This race will be open to all 2010 registered Beast Coast Downhill Circuit riders, as well as invitees. The course is pro-level, with top speeds between 55mph and 60mph, a left hand hairpin tech sweeping left and a right-left Chicane. We were fortunate enough last year to have tons of stuff for racers and those involved. I hope for it to be bigger and better next year. 50 racers are expected to be registered for the race. I will be hosting this event in the same manor as last year: one qualifying timed run seeding racers, and deciding brackets. The race will then be run with 4 man heats. Single elimination of the slowest two racers from each heat. Qualifying times remain for bracketing throughout. We will have a $25 fee for all racers, $10 going into the pot for the race itself, and $15 going in to the Beast Coast Downhill Circuit final pot. All racers will pay the fee regardless of registration for the BCDC, unless notified otherwise. As promised, May 15th will serve as a day for instructional riding for novice riders here in Central Pa. These riders will not be riding the pro-level race course. Race course map will be posted below along with videos from the 2009 Tussey Mountain Marathon Race. Be sure to check out the media below.
